Meta now charges per delivered template message — not per 24-hour conversation. Rates vary by the recipient's country code and by template category (Marketing, Utility, Authentication).

  • Service messages are free (free-form replies inside an open 24-hour customer-service window).
  • Utility templates sent inside an open service window are free.
  • Free entry points (Ads That Click to WhatsApp / FB Page CTAs) open a 72h window where all messages are free.
  • Volume tiers reduce Utility & Authentication rates above 250k/month.
